Picture Perfect!!!

I know the views are beautiful, but we want pictures of the trip itself too! Don't forget to take picture with people, having fun, and enjoying the spread! We will have a photographer, but that isn't enough for me! STIRKE A POSE and sign the guest polaroid book!

The Tour

Second floor of the boat before the ceremony is reserved for the bride to get ready! Unless invited up by wedding party please stay on the lower level, especially the groom! Enjoy our signature coffee and tea blends, and charcuterie!

4

The Ceremony

When we arrive at the glacier! Approximately, midway through the cruise.

5

The Reception

More food and drink to start our adventure of right with some of our local favorites, self serve drinks, mocktails, and don't forget dessert!

6

Child-Free Wedding

Because the ceremony and reception are taking place on a boat, for such a long time, with tight quarters and alcohol present we have decided that having children attend the wedding would be difficult, and potentially hazardous. We will be arranging an activity day for any children that do end up coming on the adventure to Alaska, so they can have some fun without attending the wedding.

The only exception to this is  Josh's teenage siblings.

Please contact us in addition to your RSVP so we can estimate the number of children that we will need to make arrangements for.

Dresscode

The ceremony and reception are on the boat, and one thing about a boat is they are always chilly and wet! Make sure you bring a water resistant, warm coat, or layer up with a hoody. It is a long day tour, so make sure you have comfortable shoes, that you feel very stable in. You may want a hat, but be warned, they are easy to blow away, especially when moving.

Small lap blankets may be a good idea to warm up after braving the outside deck. The main level of the boat is wheelchair accessible, but if an option, I recommend a cane or walker as the front of the boat is blocked by only a couple stairs and there is plenty of seating.

CAMERAS! This is a breathtaking tour to the largest tidewater glacier in North America, the path to get there studded with beautiful sights, and wildlife. If you would like, binoculars are also a good idea for spotting wildlife from a distance. Make sure you have a back-up battery pack, or charging cable for your devices you wouldn't want to miss a photo opportunity. Safety straps to prevent dropping of cameras, phones, eye-glasses, etc. are a smart idea. We will have motion sickness prevention on board, but if you have a preferred type, please be sure to bring it, motion sickness medication should be taken at the time of boarding, not once an issue has already started.

During the trip you may be asked to put away phones, cameras, binoculars, etc. in order for the photographer to get the best photographs possible. In front of the glacier, guests may also be asked to go inside on the boat for the photographer/videographer to get a few of the best shots possible. We encourage our guests to enjoy the trip and take photos, but we will have professionals for the wedding photos who get priority, so they can document this once in a life-time day. We will have digital compilation of these photos and videos, so those unable to join us can still experience the day.

Gifting

We are not expecting any gifts. We know the trip up here is expensive on its own, and having everyone there at the wedding will be gift enough. We have also been together quite a while and have most things we could need for our home. Not to mention, where to pack them...

If you still want to give us something to start off this next adventure, we would be very grateful for any cash gifts, to help pay off the wedding, finish renovations to our first home and a

HONEYMOON FUND!
